Product: Cola Nut Crushed
Latin Name: Cola Acuminata syn. Kola vera, Sterculia acuminate.
Plant Family: Malvaceae

Other Names: Kola Nut, Kola Seeds, Gurru Nuts, Bissy Nuts, Cola Seeds and Guru Nut.

Description: Our Crushed Cola Nut is pretty cool… It has a bitter taste when chewed fresh but when dried, it surprisingly tastes a lot like nutmeg! It’s also a natural source of caffeine…

SUGGESTED USE

Not only can Cola Nut be used as a tanning agent thanks to its high tannin content, it can also be used as a flavouring agent for sodas (just make sure you infuse in boiling water before use!)
