2019 has been one to remember so we thought we'd have a look back at everything the year had to offer...

One Year Older πŸŽ‚

We turned seven years old this year! 😱 Obviously lots of cake was consumed in honour of our Birthday on June 1st πŸŽ‰

New Launches

We launched our brand new range of healthy Superfoods πŸ’ͺ πŸ’š

Expanded our ever-growing collection of Organic ingredients 🌱

Launched our plastic free e-gift cards 🎁

And created an Instagram page for our trade customers! πŸ“Έ πŸ“± πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

Exciting Trips

At the beginning of the year we took a trip to Bristol to join the Soil Association's UK Organic Market 2019 discussion which was a perfect start to the year 🌱

We also visited Yeo Valley HQ in 2019 for an educational introduction to Soil Association organic, we heard how it all began for Yeo Valley followed by a local and organic lunch in the head office with an unbelievable view 🍴 🌳 We were then taken on a tour of the 500 hectare Soil Association certified farm to see their approach to organic farming and discussed the importance of preserving soil and wildlife when it comes to farming 🚜

Awards

Something super exciting happened! We were nominated for the Best of Organic Online Retailing category in the Best of Organic Market (BOOM) awards πŸ† an award show dedicated to celebrating the amazing organic farmers, producers, brands and innovators leading the industry. To our excitement we made it to the finals which meant we set off to London where we were amongst organic pioneers Thomasina Miers, co-founder or Wahaca and Briony Williams, Great British Bake Off Semi-Finalist πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ We were given the opportunity to taste an array of delicious organic food and drink and celebrate all things organic! 🌱

Living Wage

In 2019 we officially became a certified Living Wage Employer! πŸ™Œ Our Living Wage commitment will see everyone working at JustIngredients receive at least the minimum hourly wage of Β£9.00 (for the UK); this rate is significantly higher than the government minimum for over 25s which currently stands at Β£7.83 per hour.
