I can’t find the product I want; can you order it or source it for me?

We are committed to offering our customers the widest range of ingredients. If there are items you can't find listed on this site, please contact us with your requirement and we will do our best to source it for you. Please get in touch with our team at


In the majority of cases, we require a minimum order of 150kg in order for us to source products. Whilst we realise this might not be possible for all our customers, please do get in touch with us as we will be able to keep your details on file. We listen to our customers and aim to source regularly requested products where appropriate as part of our ongoing product development.

I run a small business, can I open a trade account?

Of course! We offer small pack sizes starting at 100g and can accommodate orders for packs, bulk sacks or pallet loads. With a minimum order value of just £70, we are affordable even for start-up businesses.


We offer the UK’s largest on-line range of dried herbs, spice, botanicals and wholefoods and our trade site is focused towards customers looking for wholesale quantities. This on-line portal offers an easy and efficient way for companies big or small, to place orders with us.

All of our products, sizes and prices are easy to find on our website and as we are an online business, you can shop 24/7.

Is it possible to order over the phone?

All orders can be placed on our website (we’re unable to accept orders on the phone). Should you require support with your order, please don’t hesitate to email us at


I'm having trouble placing my order online, what should I do?

If you’re experiencing difficulties using our site, please do get in touch either by email at or give us a call on 01291 635525. In order for us to report any technical difficulties to our web developers we ask that, where possible, you attach a screenshot of any errors so that we can fix these as soon as possible for you.


Can I backorder a product which is out of stock and have it sent out as soon as it arrives?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a backorder service for any items that are out of stock. As many of our goods are shipped from overseas, they are susceptible to delays and as such we are not always able to guarantee an exact delivery date for new stock. Due to this and to avoid customer disappointment, we do not offer a backorder facility.


If you'd like to be notified when the product is next available to order, please subscribe via the 'out of stock' notification button on the product page, next to the specific size you are looking for.

Can I add something to my order once it has been placed?

So that your goods can be dispatched quickly, orders are packed up as soon as possible upon receipt. For this reason, we do not offer an option to add to your order as standard.


However, should you urgently need to add an item to your order, please get in touch with our customer service team on 01291 635525 or by emailing and they will do their best to accommodate your request. This service is offered at our discretion and all of the above must be actioned on the same day as the original order was placed for us to be able to combine the orders and return any outstanding postage funds.


When will my order be dispatched?

We take customer feedback seriously at JustIngredients and based on these comments from our customers, we are currently focused on improving our dispatch speeds for all orders, improving stock level reliability and offering a wider range of delivery options.

To provide customers with the best possible service, we hold stock at a number of warehouses and therefore the dispatch times can differ slightly.


Non-request products

All non-request products are dispatched from our brand-new priority warehouse, where we attempt to ensure that all orders placed before 1pm, are dispatched that same day (excluding weekends). This applies to non bulk (under 1kg) items only.

The delivery date of your goods will depend on the delivery service selected at checkout. Please see 'When will my order be delivered?' for more information.

Bulk products (>1kg)

Bulk products are dispatched from a separate warehouse and we cannot guaranteed same day dispatch. We endeavour to dispatch bulk goods as soon as possible, to be delivered within 7 working days.

Request only products

In order to ensure we are able to offer the widest range of herbs, spices and botanicals, whilst still offering great customer service, we’ve recently moved a huge number of our products into our brand-new warehouse, with better stock control and improved dispatch times.

Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to move all our products at once – we have an incredible 3000 products on our website! Therefore, we’ve updated many of our products to be ‘Request only’ items whilst we go through this transition.

We’ve made sure to start moving our most popular items first so all your favourites should now qualify for speedy dispatch!

When will my order be delivered?

The delivery date of your goods will depend on the delivery service you select in the checkout. A rough guide below outlines our estimated delivery times (from the date of dispatch). Please note that order contents and exact delivery locations may affect the time it takes to deliver your order.


Economy Delivery – 5-10 working days for UK mainland orders and 10-14 working days for islands and Europe.
Priority Delivery – tracked delivery service. 2-3 working days for UK mainland orders and 3-5 working days for Islands and Europe.
Pre-12 Delivery – tracked delivery by 12pm. Next working day* for UK mainland orders. 1-2 working days for Islands and Europe.

*next working day delivery applies to non-bulk items, when your order is placed before 1pm.

Can I arrange my own courier to collect my order?

Can I collect my order from your warehouse?

We do not allow customers to collect their goods - as much as we would love to see you, our warehouse is strictly business! This is to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our packers and products.


Our Products

Can I try before I buy?

We love it when people want to try something new and we understand that sometimes you want to try a little before you try a lot.


We can offer up to five 20g samples for our trade customers (delivery charges may apply). Simply email us with a list of the products you’d like to try, along with the name and address to send them to.

Why do your prices change?

We strive to be as competitive as we can when it comes to our product pricing.


As we deal in natural products, the price of our ingredients is affected by factors such as weather, growing seasons and economics. For example, if it has been too dry or too wet in a country where we are sourcing a product, this can significantly change the availability of the product and therefore impact the price. The good news is that this works both ways, so when our suppliers' prices come down, so do ours!

Why aren't your products as cheap as some other suppliers?

We believe there's no compromise when it comes to good quality products which is why we are committed to offering our customers the finest ingredients which have been responsibly and ethically sourced, working with only approved suppliers. So, although we endeavour to offer our customers the most competitive pricing, we can't always be the cheapest.


If you do find a cheaper product with another supplier, it may not be a direct comparison to ours so we would urge you to check the quality of the product rather than purchasing based on price alone. All of our product specifications are available to download directly from our website and we can provide certificates of analysis on request.

I would like to blend my own spice mix, is this something that you can do?

We love working with creative food companies, so if you have you have been thinking of developing your own unique blend that you'd like us to help develop, or if you have a blend already that you'd like us to work on, we'd love to hear from you.


In order to offer you the best possible service, bespoke blend orders are subject to a minimum order quantity of 75kg per blend. Please have your initial recipe ready as we ask that you send this over by percentage of each ingredient - this helps us to provide you with information regarding lead times and pricing.

Still working on your blend? No problem, we are happy to help you on your spice journey and can provide samples along the way to ensure the perfect flavour combination for you.

We can also customise your special blend with custom pack sizes and labelling. We can pack your blend into anything from 5g bags/sachets up to 25kg bags and we can apply minimum labelling (black and white logo, name, best before date, batch number and allergens), or alternatively, we offer bespoke labelling from £70 per order.

I would like guidance on how to use your products, is this something you can provide?

Unfortunately, we are prevented by law from offering any information on dosage or usage of our products.


For ingredients which you intend to use in products for medicinal use, we suggest that you consult a licensed practitioner or herbalist.

Are your oils safe for culinary use?

Our oils are perfect for pepping up any dish which you are cooking, however only a few drops of the oil should be used and no more. Essential oils are very potent and high doses should not be consumed.


Are your products gluten free?

We supply a range of products that are internationally sourced from approved suppliers. Gluten as well as nuts, celery and mustard are handled on our sites. Handling procedures are in place to reduce the likelihood of allergens being present, but we cannot guarantee our ingredients are totally free of traces in the products supplied.

What is the percentage of Curcumin in your turmeric?

Curcumin is a naturally existing compound in turmeric and therefore the percentage of curcumin in turmeric products can vary from batch to batch. Our turmeric is 100% natural and does not undergo any processing to increase the naturally occurring level of curcumin.

Can I get a copy of the Certificate of Analysis for a product?

Of course! We are able to provide a COA (Certificate of Analysis) for all of the products we supply however you can't download them from our website like the product specifications as the COAs are batch specific.


After receiving your order, please e-mail our team at with the batch number printed on the packet and our technical team will send you the COA for the product you have requested.

Is it possible to have a copy of your Accreditations and Certifications?

We believe in being completely transparent with our customers, so we've made all of our company statements, accreditations and certifications available to view and download from our website.
