Loyalty Points
With so many companies to choose from when purchasing products, we know sometimes it’s difficult to decide who to use and we are incredibly grateful for how loyal our customers are to us. So, we’ve launched our loyalty points scheme as our way of saying thank you for choosing us.
You’ll find all the information you need on how it works, below.
1. About us
The JustIngredients Loyalty Scheme is promoted and operated by JustIngredients Limited (company number 08093077) (we and us). We are a limited company registered in England and Wales, and our registered office and main trading address is at Units 5-6 Tabernacle Road, Wotton-Under-Edge, England, United Kingdom, GL12 7EF. Our VAT number is GB 141 8685 96. We operate the website justingredients.co.uk (our website).
2. AM I ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE LOYALTY SCHEME?
Our Loyalty Scheme is available to you if you have a valid account with us (you will need an account in order to purchase products from us through our website).
Membership of our Loyalty Scheme is entirely at our discretion, and we reserve the right to refuse membership.
3. How do I earn loyalty points?
You can earn points in a few different ways:
Purchasing Products
Every time you purchase a product from us through our website you’ll earn 5 points for every full pound you spend, excluding delivery charges. (Based on the value of each product on your order, rather than your basket subtotal). All of our products are subject to availability.
The overall price you pay for our products remains the same whether or not you participate in our Loyalty Scheme.
Points can only be earnt on orders placed through our website.
Product Reviews
Once you’ve placed an order, we’ll ask you for a review. This is an easy way to gain loyalty points!
- 100 points for a product review (one per order)
- 100 points for a company/service review (one per order)
Special Promotions
From time to time we run special promotions where you’ll have the opportunity to earn extra points.
If you’d like to know when we’re running these promotions, make sure you’ve opted in to receiving our newsletter! You can opt out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by contacting us at zFGblNHQqV3c0lmbnJXZklWZuR3cuM2buU3a, or by clicking "unsubscribe" on any of the emails we send to you.
Referring Friends
Every time you refer a friend to us you’ll earn points. See section 6 below for more details.
What's Excluded?
Points can’t be earned on delivery charges, on the VAT element of the price of the products, or on any products we may decide not to include in the Loyalty Scheme at our absolute discretion from time to time.
4. How much is each point worth?
Currently, a single point is equal to 1 pence (1 point = £0.01), but points have no cash redemption value.
5. How do I earn points by referring my friends?
For every friend you refer to JustIngredients, you’ll receive 500 points, provided your friend registers for an account with us and places a successful order for products through our website. You can redeem points for one referral per friend.
To refer your friends simply head to the 'My Invitations' section in your account dashboard where you’ll find your unique referral link that you can share with friends.
You can either copy and paste the link to share it with your friends, for example into a text message or on your blog, or use the social media and email* share buttons available on the page.
There’s no limit on the number of friends you can refer or the number of points you can earn, so get sharing!
*If you opt to email the link to a friend using the 'Send Email' field, the email address you enter is not shared with JustIngredients.
6. Will my points or coupon codes expire?
Nothing lasts forever, not even your loyalty points!
All points will expire after 365 days. Don’t worry though, we’ll send you a reminder before they’re due to expire to make sure you don’t forget.
If you’d like to stop receiving notifications about expiring points, you can manage this subscription in your account dashboard under the 'My Reward Points' section.
7. How do I view my points balance and history?
In your account dashboard you’ll be able to see your points balance under 'My Reward Points'.
Every time your points balance changes (for example when you earn or redeem points on an order), you’ll receive a balance update.
If you’ve earnt points or redeemed points on an order, you’ll get a summary of your new points in your order confirmation email.
If you’ve earnt points from referring a friend or taking part in a special promotion such as earning points by subscribing to our newsletter, you’ll receive a separate balance update email. You can opt out of receiving these separate updates about your points balance, however, you cannot opt out of receiving balance updates in your order confirmation emails. You can manage this subscription in your account dashboard under the 'My Reward Points' section.
You can also view your points balance history such as when you earnt or redeemed your points under the 'transaction history' heading.
8. How do I redeem my points?
You must be logged into your account to redeem loyalty points.
Click on the green star in the bottom left hand corner of the screen and you’ll see the total amount of loyalty points available. Click on the ‘view’ button and a slider will appear allowing you to choose how may points you’d like to redeem. When you’re happy with your selection, click 'redeem' and a coupon code will be generated for you to use in the checkout.
You can choose to pay for part, or all of your order with points. Points are applied to your order before VAT is calculated and points cannot be redeemed on delivery fees.
If you forget to redeem your points on your order, unfortunately we are not able to amend this afterwards. Points may only be redeemed on orders placed through our website.
9. What happens if my order is refunded?
If your order is returned or cancelled and a full or partial refund is due, any points redeemed on the original order will be returned to your account and any points earnt on your original order will be deducted. We do not give any cash refunds in relation to the value of any points returned to your account.
10. Important Information
Points may be removed or cancelled if we determine that they were collected in breach of these terms and conditions or were awarded in error. For the avoidance of doubt, any advice given, or actions made, by our employees that are contrary to these terms and conditions will not have the effect of changing them.
Points cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred from one person or account to another unless we specifically agree to do so.
In the case of any dispute about our Loyalty Scheme, our decision will be final.
These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.
11. Your personal data
We will only use your personal data for the purposes of allowing you to participate in our Loyalty Scheme, and for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy. We recommend that you read our Privacy Policy before taking part in our Loyalty Scheme, as it contains important information about what personal data we will collect from you or about you, what we will do with that data, and what your legal rights are in relation to it.
12. Changes to these terms and conditions
We may vary the points available or the rate at which points will be allocated, change these terms and conditions as we may deem necessary from time to time, or as may be required by law, or cease to offer our Loyalty Scheme, at any time and at our discretion. Any changes will be immediately posted on our site and any participation following the alterations is considered as acceptance.
