Chilli Hot Chocolate

Liven up your warm drinks by adding some heat to your hot chocolate or mocha with our simple yet flavourful recipe. Top tip! Lavish a little more attention on your hot chocolate - swap the microwave for the hob and gently warm your milk and water together whilst whisking away with a magic flat whist (one of those smaller, flatter whisks which looks a little like an old telephone cord (we're old! Remember corded landlines...?) it'll create you a smoother, creamier tasting hot chocolate!

Ingredients

3 tablespoons Carob powder
1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Pinch of Chilli powder
4 tablespoons Milk or oat milk
175ml Boiling water

Toppings

Marshmallows
Caramel syrup

Instructions

Mix the carob powder, ground cinnamon and chilli powder in a mug. Pour in the milk, add the boiling water and stir.

Decorate with remaining ingredients or add marshmallows and caramel syrup for extra flavour.
