Product: Carob Pods Cut
Latin Name: Ceratonia siliqua
Plant Family: Fabaceae

Other Names: Locust Pods, Locust Beans, Carob, Carobinha, Caaroba, St. John's Bread, Algarrobo, Johannisbrotbaum, Caroubier and Caroube.

Description: Chocolate lovers will be pleased to know that Carob Pods have a similar flavour to chocolate (but a whole lot healthier!)

SUGGESTED USE

Although you wouldn’t eat Carob Pods on their own, they make a great substitute for chocolate in cakes, cookies and chocolatey drinks!
