DESCRIPTION

Description: We all know and love the popular spice known as nutmeg, but have you ever heard of Mace Blades?! This orange net-like ingredient is the coating found on nutmeg seeds; peeled away and dried after the nutmeg has been harvested. Mace Blades have a slightly lighter, more delicate aroma and flavour with notes of cinnamon and black pepper!
SUGGESTED USE
Like nutmeg, mace is typically used in baking where warm notes are needed but you can even use them to flavour stews, curries, sauces, and homemade pickles. Your favourite Indian takeaway probably uses Mace Blades!DISCLAIMER
