A block of tofu has never been so tasty!


A block of Tofu
4 Garlic cloves
4 tablespoons Soy sauce
3 tablespoons Rice vinegar
1 tablespoon Maple syrup
1 teaspoon Sesame oil


Cover the tofu with paper towels or a clean tea towel, set a baking tray on top and something heavy. Leave for 15 minutes to press.

Place the tofu into a dish and surround with tomatoes and garlic cloves.

In a jug, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, syrup, sesame oil, garlic and ginger together. Pour the marinade over the tofu, cover the dish and place in the fridge for an hour or overnight.

Sprinkle rosemary on top, preheat the oven to 200C and bake for 25 - 35 minutes.

Break up the tofu and serve with pasta and sauce!
