Let's whip up a quick and easy cost-effect stir fry!


1 tablespoon Oil
1 Onion chopped
150g Bean sprouts
1 Carrot cut into matchsticks
200ml Vegetable stock
2 tablespoons Chinese 5 spice or Thai 7 Spice
250g Noodles
Meat optional


Heat the oil in a pan or wok and add meat if using. Cook for a few minutes then stir in the chopped onions.

In a separate pan, cook the noodles according to pack instructions.

Once the onions have slightly softened, add the carrots and Chinese 5 Spice and mix to combine. Mix in the bean sprouts.

Drain the noodles and add them to the pan/wok. Stir in the stock, heat through and serve!
