JustIngredients Oregano

This recipe will help you save money because you'll never buy ready-made pasta sauce again!


1 tablespoon Olive oil
2 Onions chopped
2 Cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon Tomato puree
800g Chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon Dried oregano
Salt to taste


Heat the oil in a pan over a low heat, cook the onions, add the garlic and puree and cook for 2 minutes.

Tip in the tomatoes and sprinkle in the oregano. Season with salt and allow to simmer for half an hour (stir occasionally).

Keep in sterilised jars in the refrigerator for a week or freeze in a container for up to 2 months.
