These homemade fluffy chocolate doughnuts with a sprinkle of coconut look and taste like they've come straight from a professional bakery!
Preheat the oven to 180C, sift the flour and cacao powder into a mixing bowl then stir in the sugar, baking soda and salt.
Pour in the almond milk, apple puree, coconut oil, vinegar and vanilla and whisk to remove lumps.
Grease two doughnut trays, scoop the mixture into a piping bag and pipe the batter evenly amongst the doughnut rings. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until baked through. Leave to cool.
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together, dip the doughnuts into the melted chocolate, sprinkle with desiccated coconut and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Pop in the fridge until set.
Now this is a winter warming, cosy soup for the soul!
